My favourites from July!

Where has July gone?... I'm not quite sure, but it has whizzed by.
The weather has been dull and it definitely feels like we have skipped Summer and gone straight into Autumn (today has bee quite sunny however). Although July has come and gone so quickly, I do have a surprising number of favourites which I am going to share with you guys today..

BEAUTY

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation

This is a foundation which last year I used religiously! It was the only foundation, alongside the Bourjois Healthy Mix, that I really used. Recently, I have been really loving it again. For the summer it is perfect - it has an SPF, it is light in constancy and the finish is really dewy and fresh. I had honestly forgotten, over the winter, that the coverage of this foundation is actually pretty good too!

This brush was added to my collection this month and since it arrived in the post, I have been absolutely loving it! For contouring, I usually use the Real Techniques contouring brush - naturally! ...But, I have never really liked it and have never felt like it gives me the shading that I wanted. When I started using the sculpting brush, however, I was instantly hooked. The brush makes it so easy to apply either a natural, or a more dramatic contour to my face. I am also really intrigued as to how this brush applies foundation.

TELEVISION

Love Island

I am a sucker for a bit of trashy TV.  I have never really been into the typical Made In Chelsea, TOWIE or Big Brother, but I have definitely been loving Love Island! I missed the first few episodes but was quick to catch up and from there, I was addicted. Although it has finished now, I still thought I would include it in my favourites because it literally took over my evenings for 6 weeks!! Let me know down below whether you watched it/What you thought/Who you loved etc etc.

Before I Go To Sleep

I have been struggling through 'Before I Go To Sleep' the book for several months now. Don't get me wrong, it is really good and I like how it is written.. I am just not a massive fan of reading! When I realised the movie was out on DVD, I couldn't resist. I won't spoil anything or go on and on but it is a must watch!

LIFESTYLE

The Mindfulness Colouring Book

I had seen this colouring book all over Instagram and I was totally intrigued. Obviously I went straight onto Amazon to have a nosey and a few clicks later, I had one on its way to my house!

At first I thought I would whizz through the book and have to hunt for a new one, but the patterns are so intricate that they take ages to colour. I take just a few minutes (sometimes more when I get carried away) each day to zone out and colour my book. Who would have thought colouring in could relax you so much and just give you that real down time without worrying about anything else. I love this book and all the patterns are completely different - I have a really bad habit of colour half of one page and then finding a new pattern which I just have to start..
And yes, I did just ramble for a whole paragraph about a colouring book..

FASHION

Pull & Bear Blossoming with Age tank and ASOS Floral Shorts

I was doing a quick pre-Bournemouth browse on ASOS when I cam across some really nice bits. I ordered a few pairs of shorts and some tops and to my surprise, when they arrived, I love them all - this never happens! I have been wearing the Pull & Bear tank and the floral shorts to death this month and I am in love!
Have a cheeky Instagram post pic (only because I am too much of a lazy blogger to do a whole phootshoot for one top - although I do love this and am living in it so would gladly do a photoshoot wearing it!!!) (The shorts featured in my Bournemouth post, incase you wanted to see them on!)

Havaianas Women's Slim

I have been living in flip flops this month. During Bournemouth it is pretty much all I wore (much to Ollie's disgust) and I just find these Slim Havaianas so comfy! These are only £22 which for a pair of good quality, comfy flip flops which I can wear all day without them causing any pain is awesome! The slim fit are also very flattering and once I tried the slim ones I feel like I can never go back to any other style. They also come in a tonne of colours. I love the navy blue because they go with everything - I also have a purple pair of the slim flip flops but Navy is so diverse I have abandoned the purple ones.

We are at the end of another blog post! I have been so busy recently, not that I can tell you why, or doing what, but I seem to be on the go all the time and this makes it really hard for me to just sit and write. I love writing this blog but when you physically don't have the time when juggling your daily life, it can be super hard. I am still trying to get ahead of myself with posts but you know I like writing things last minute and very current! Hopefully I can get back on track with my Sunday and Wednesday posts, although I do have another busy week ahead of me.. fingers crossed!

See you all next time (I have a post planned, but it is yet to be written so we shall see..it is a gooden.. if it ever gets typed up!)
