My fashion "must have" for the summer: Flippy Shorts

So, this summer, I have struggled to find the perfect pair of denim shorts. I know exactly what I want from a denim short, and each summer, it tends to change. This year I was after a pair of high waisted, boyfriend fit denim shorts. I am not too fussy about the colour denim, whether it is light or dark, however, I have tried so many pairs this year and not been able to find the perfect fit. I wanted a baggy pair of shorts that still looked flattering on the booty area, whilst being an acceptable length. After many many pairs, I finally gave in. I did discover flippy shorts though (this is what I am calling them).

I think this loose style is really flattering and they are SO comfortable! I am a sucker for something that looks totally fabulous but is also super comfy!

I have put together some of the outfits I am loving at them moment, based around my lovely flippy/floppy/sloppy shorts and courtesy of Ollie, I have pictures for you!

PS. I am no model, hence why I have cropped out my face in all of the photos.. so please excuse my awkward body language/poses/whatever you want to call it! ;)

This is the most slouchy look, and when it is slightly cooler, I love this one! The only way you are going to get some colour on your legs is by getting them out! I don't think slouchy jumpers paired with slouchy shorts will be everyone's cup of tea, however, I absolutely love this look!

I pair most of these outfits with either converse, flip flops, skate shoes, some sandals (brown or black), my LoPro Vans in great - anything really!

I keep making false promises over here, saying my posts will become more regular..and then failing to post each Wednesday and Sunday! For now, bare with me..
