Bournemouth: What's in my Make Up bag?

Hello,

I am currently away in Bournemouth so this is just a quicky to give you a little look into the make up bag that I have brought away with me.

I find it so hard not to bring tonnes of brushes with me when I go away, especially when it comes to eye shadow brushes!

For bases, I have kept it to a minimum (although some people may see this as excessive I suppose?) I am taking two foundations, the first is Rimmel's Wake Me Up Foundation which I have popped in as more of a day time base. It has an SPF 15 and gives a medium coverage with a dewy finish. As I am going to be by the seaside, I figured I wouldn't want anything too heavy and matte, I want something which will add radiance to my skin. The second foundation is more full coverage and I have packed it more for the evening, it is Estee Lauder's Double Wear foundation which also have an SPF 10. I will probably end up wearing both of these in the day time, however, I have chosen products based on day time and evening.

The instablur primer from the Body Shop works perfectly under the Wake Me Up foundation as it holds it in place all day!

And finally for my base products, the Lasting Perfection concealer from Collection was a no brainer. It is the only concealer I use.

So I decided on the Rimmel Stay Matte translucent powder just to sweep across my face to mattify my oily areas. The Too Faced Milk Soleil bronzer is one I am loving at the moment, it is quite a matte bronzer, perfect for contouring and just adding that bronzed look to the skin. And then keeping it nice and simple, I have chucked in my go to blusher from Mac which adds such a luminous feel to the skin whilst giving me a pop of colour - perfect for summer.

For my eyes, I have packed a couple of palettes. The first is my favourite nudey/bronze palette from MUA, I would literally recommend this to anyone, it is so affordable and really amazing for the price. This is a perfect palette for a quick eye look. I have also added my Mac duo palette with a couple of shades of purple - these make a really lovely evening eye. Of course I am taking a Mac Paint Pot in the colour Painterly - where would I be without this? And finally, my Shu Umera eye lash curlers, Benefit's Roller Lash Mascara and Benefit's Gimme Brow. Nice and simple.

I am probably going to be reaching for a lip balm or some vaseline whilst I am away, however, I couldn't not pack a couple of lip products. The Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker, a Mac Pro Longwear Lip Pencil and Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Red Square.

And there we have it - a totally chaotic picture which makes it look like I am taking a whole truck full of make up, oops. I am so so excited to get away for a few days. It has been toooo long and I am definitely in need of a good, seaside break!!

I will see you on Sunday with a post all about my time away!

See you then,

E x
