I really needed that: exploring Bournemouth!

In an ideal world, I would post regularly on a Sunday and Wednesday each week, without fail. However, when I have a lot going on, this isn't always possible. I don't like to write content for my blog weeks in advance - I plan my ideas, but I don't tend to write each post until a few days before, if not on the day of it getting published.

For this reason, I am not always on the ball and due to lots going on in my life, I may, on the odd occasion miss a post, or two. This week has been pretty hectic but now things are calming down I have a chance to apologise, to anyone reading, about my lack of posting this Sunday and Wednesday.

Last Sunday,  I intended to share my trip away to Bournemouth with you but as this didn't happen, I will count last week out and start fresh today.

Ollie and I decided a while back to take a few days away down in Bournemouth, somewhere I have never been (not that I remember anyway), but somewhere I was sooo excited to visit! I was very very lazy and took a total of 0 photos on my camera. We did a lot of wandering and it was nice to just explore, taking the odd snap on my phone. As always, I was updating my Instagram constantly and so the plan for today's post is to share with you a couple of photographs from the break.

When we arrived, we were starving! I love trying out little independent coffee shops and before almost giving in and ending up in Costa, we spotted The Real Eating Company.

As you can see, we were both so hungry I didn't get a chance to photograph the food before!

I tried, and failed as always, to take some outfit pictures. For someone who writes a blog, and is passionate about photography, I do not like being in front of the camera and I am the world's worst model. This is something I am definitely going to try and work on as I personally love nosing at other blogger's outfit choices. Instead of fancy outfit shots, I took a couple of typical mirror selfies.

Pizza Express was on the crds for night number one - how can you not when students get 40% off the bill!

Cue ugly mid - laugh face from me

Absolutely adore these shorts from ASOS.

Dinner in Harry Ramsden's - right by the beach!

These are my favourite kinds of shops - sweeties!!

I am a guilty outfit repeater! I love these shorts too much so decided to work several outfits around them! I definitely wore them to death in Bournemouth. Thankfully the weather was good as I had only packed shorts and a couple of trousers.

The view from Harry Ramsden's - yes we returned there for a second night!

Yum yum, halloumi salad was delish!

...salad followed by a big cinnamon waffle :D :D to share of course!

??????

On our last day, I spotted the Oceanarium and as the weather was kind of cold we figured it would be a good option. I felt like a kid again and couldt resist buying some cuddly toys in the gift shop afterwards - oopsies.

Last supper! A big fat burger on the pier!

Or in Ollie's case, a big fat steak!

And there is a brief summary in photos, and a few words, of our week away! The photo's aren't the greatest quality but sometimes it isn't how good the photos are, it is what is in them, and for me, these pictures will just give me memories from a really lovely few days away!

See you on Sunday (not Wednesday) when the blog will be back on track - I hope!
