Like many girls, I am a real fan of any lip related products! If there is one thing I am always drawn to when I walk into Boots, its the lip products and I am always on the look out for new ones!
As the weather is turning and we are heading through autumn and into winter (woo) I am really getting back into the statement lip. From red to purple, matte to gloss, there is such a wide variety of products out there.
Today I want to share with you a few of my current favourites, all of which will be popular in my make up bag this season...
Sleek Matte Me
Around £4.99
I already adore matter lips. When I discovered this matte lip, in a lip gloss form, I was soo intrigued and to my delight, is it brilliant! Easy to apply and its staying power is pretty good! I feel like it is almost a lip stain as well as a matte product!
Revlon Colour Stay Moisture Lip Stain
Around £7.99
One of my most used lip products at the moment, I want more! Definitely a lip stain as it leaves a lovely colour on my lips.
Revlon ColourBurst Matte Balm
Around £7.99
Another of my favourites, this chubby stick style product. Incredibly easy to apply, feels amazing and creamy on the lips, but dries matte! Love love love.
Soap and Gloy Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick
Around £8.00
Perfect for everyday use, gives a nice pop of colour but is very sheer at the same time. Also feels nourishing on the lips.
No7 High Shine Lip Crayon
Around £9.00
Very sheer and perfect for an everyday lip. I would say this suits blonde hair/paler skin the best. Again, very moisturising and natural on the lip meaning it is perfect for this time of year when our lips are struggling with the change in temperature.
I would highly recommend all five of these products, although, I am easily pleased when it comes to lip products!
See you soon,
E x
These are all great suggestions! It can be a struggle to prevent lips looking like the Sahara desert. I like to use Berts Bees for chapstick, but these are good for when you want some color. I really like the deep redish pink of the second lip stain. Makes a statement.

Burts Bees is probably the only lip care product I have never used! Maybe I should try it out? I struggle so much with my lips when the weather changes from warm to cold and vice versa. The Revlon Colour Burst is my absolute favourite!
DeleteThis is such a great blog post, I need a subtle colored lip product that I could wear to school that has some color but not enough to get me int trouble, any ideas?

ReplyDeleteThank you so much! If you want something subtle, from the ones above, I would 100% go for the Soap and Glory Gloss Stick, either that shade or 'Nudist', I have tried them both and they are very sheer, making them nice and subtle for everyday wear! Hope this can help you find something for school!
DeleteNeed all of those! Would you like to follow each other on GFC?! Let me know and follow me on my blog, I will follow you right back on both GFC and Bloglovin!
