Cornwall: Cute coffee shop and a rainy afternoon

This morning, we got up and headed off into Truro, where we wandered around and did some shopping.

When it was time for a break, we headed over to a coffee shop we had spotted earlier on which
looked intriguing and rather cute.
We sat in 'Cafe Uneeka' where we enjoyed some drinks...

I was also hungry enough to enjoy some of their rocky road - top notch!

The most interesting thing I picked up was in our little trip to lush, which was needed, obviously!

Today is turning out to be a bit of a 'What I ate' kind of blog post day because here is what I ate after our morning of shopping...
This also went along with a bag of Wotsits (naughty), some Maryland cookies (also naughty, oops) and a lemon and lime Juicy Water (my new fave).

Currently, as I sit here writing this post, we are experiencing a typical dose of British summertime weather - rain!! Gutting, however we deserve a little bit of rubbish weather after the non stop sunshine we have been getting all week!

This evening, after a delicious dinner, we decided to go for our final evening walk down into the village.

Thank you for reading this week as I took you along with me...

Sadly, this is my last Cornwall post as we are heading home tomorrow evening and won't be up to much (no more than we have done this week already, at least) during the day...

I am looking forward to our final days chill in this beautiful place,
See you soon...

Cornwall: Daytime sunshine and evenings on the beach

Hello,

This afternoon, we ended up wandering down to the village for a pasty (naughty naughty) where we sat for several hours by the harbour arm enjoying the sunshine and watching the world go by. It honestly is one of the more peaceful and anxiety free places, especially when the weather is so glorious!

Here is Mum, Milo and I looking out at the amazing view after demolishing an ice cream :)))

This evening, we all headed down to the beach about a 20 minute walk away, where we sat as the sun set behind us.

The sea was surpsringly warm after todays heat, meaning Ollie went for a cheeky evening swim...

Milo, however, wasn't so keen:

As this is Milo's first holiday, we have been trying to get him into the sea, but as you can see from the picture above... he is not a massive fan!

See you tomorrow,

Cornwall: Early Morning and Beach Cafe

Evening,

This morning, we all got up early and headed off to the beach - Que beachy pics...

I was planning on running part of the way (hence the clothing attire)... yeah that didn't happen! It is surprisingly hot before 8 in the morning!

Later, Mum, Milo and I took a walk to The Hidden Hut, a small bar/cafe that over looks the beach.

I sat and indulged myself in a yummy ice cream and refreshing apple juice whilst Mum enjoyed a cuppa.

Again, we haven't really done much today but it is nice to share with you the little things we have been getting up to... plus my photos looks so summery *inserts cute sun emoji*

What is you favourite ice cream flavour?

Cornwall: Lazy Day

The aim for this holiday was to be completely chilled out and very lazy, today has definitely lived up to this expectation.

As you can see from these photos, we haven't been up to much today...

We packed up some lunch (a pasty a day really isn't good for us and as tempting as it was, we decided to make a healthier option) and took it down to the harbour to enjoy!

Milo had his first ever dip in the sea, I'm not sure how he felt about it to be honest... after being really excited to be running in and out of the waves, he became very apprehensive?!

Bikini - Next

When we had finished down at the harbour, it was back to the house for some sun bathing, reading, and for Mum and Ollie, a nap!

What book are you reading this summer/What books can you suggest for summer reading?

P.S. I finally got to the exciting part of Looking For Alaska :D :D

Cornwall: Ice creams, sunshine and long walks

Aloha,

Today I thought I would begin with sharing my morning routine/what I did to my face this morning...

Real techniques brushes, Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation, P20 Spf 10, The Body Shop Insta Blur, Collection Extreme Liner, Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, Clinque High Impact mascara, Rimmel Stay Matte powder, MUA highlighting powder, Clinique bronzer, Tangle Teezer.

If anyone is looking for the perfect holiday foundation/base, I definitely would suggest you try Rimmel's Wake Me Up foundation as it not only leaves your skin looking dewy and fresh but more importantly has an SPF 15.

After a lazy morning, we wandered down into the village for our first cornish pasty. I can't honestly think of many things better than sitting by the sea in the sunshine under a sea breeze, lush.

Mum looks so confused (hehe)

And before we headed off back home (where well all fell asleep, oops) we had to have an ice cream of course!!
I had double chocolate fudge, which if I remember correctly, I had last year, mmmm.

Finally, tonight, we headed for a beach about 2 miles away. Walking through the peaceful lanes and cute tracks whilst the sun was setting to eventually get to the beach was bliss!

Stay tuned for the rest of my holiday and summer posts over the few next weeks,

E x
