Opportune Olsen Twins

These two beautiful ladies are always always always on point!

Even back in their early teenager years, the Olsen girls were fashion inspirations, whether it be their hair, make up or clothing choices. I love their fresh - faced make up look which truly compliments the angelic waves in their hair.

Moving on slightly, their fearless approach to fur, complimented by a bold lipstick look (red lip rocked by Mary Kate). This look was recently running the beauty/fashion world through the autumn and winter months. I am absolutely loving the combination, not great for summer but in the colder months, its a must!

The Oldens in mono chrome has got to be my fav! Their simple and fresh faces combined with a mysterious smokey eye and a basic bold dress just looks flawless. No matter the day, occasion or time of year, this look is truly fabulous. I think this look is the perfect go - to, for any female.

Big, Bold..... sunnies! What more can I say, these girls are big (yet so tiny) and extremely bold. Although this is not a recent photograph of the girls, I have recently purchased myself a pair of these outrageously stunning sunglasses because they are just so wonderful and on point...

(they are always two steps ahead of any current trends so watch this space)

And finally, the sleek and slick Olsen look. Although I am not one to be able to pull of this polished look, I most definitely admire it.

This definitely another of my style favourites from the twins.

Who are your most inspirational celebs when it comes to the fashion world?

Favourite Everyday Brushes

I recently purchased some new real techniques brushes, a brand I have previously never used. I decided to try out the travel sized pack of three different brushes as well as a larger different brush.

I am in love with these brushes! In the past, make up brushes have just been a large frustration to me, irritating my skin or leaving bristles from the brush on my face. However, these tools are something else! They are seriously soft and have never left a frustrating brush hair on my face...

Expert Face Brush

I adore this brush.

For someone who was never really a fan of liquid foundation, this brush has made me fall in love with my recent liquid purchase (Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation). The firm brush makes applying and blending my foundation so easy, leaving an almost flawless look and natural finish.

Mini Brush Trio

Mini Foundation Brush...
This adorable little brush is perfect for blending concealer, it is probably too small for foundation as it is from the mini trio but for concealer it is ideal!

 Mini Face Brush...
The most perfect brush for applying powder easily to your face. I love the coverage this gives and like every other real techniques brush I have used, it is so so so soft.

This brush has so many uses, powder, bronzer, highlighter.. you name it!!

  Mini Shading Brush...
Finally, this cute mini shading brush from the trio is perfect for eyeshadow and lining your top lid. It holds the shadow well and transfers it evenly from brush to lid. I don't use this brush as frequently as the other three (purely because I suck at eye make up) but when I do use it, I feel a whole lot more confident as it applies the products so well!

And that is the end of this quick post, these are just my favourite, basic and everyday make up brushes from Real Techniques

Thank you fro reading and sorry I haven't posted in a while...

Daily Make Up Routine

Today I thought I would share with you some everyday basic make up products.

I'm not one to spend crazy amounts on make up as I think you can definitely get good quality products on the high street. Of course you get what you pay for, but I don't think you always need to splash out to get a good everyday product!

Love this primer! I've heard a lot of other bloggers saying this clogs their pores, however, I personally don't find it does... I could live without this, but the silky smooth effect it gives my skin is lush! I am also intrigued to try the Body Shop Insta-Blurr primer though!

The Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation is probably the newest addition to my make up bag.

Ive been using it for about a month now and I am still not sure how I feel about it. It's very dewy, which I like! However I don't think it lasts particularly well during the day!

As you can see, this Collection Lasting Perfection
concealer has been well used.
I wouldn't say its the best concealer but it is
definitely build-able and  has an easy to blend formula.

An unusual one now... this is actually a foundation as well, but
I tend to use it as a powder to matify the dewy liquid foundation. I think I am right in thinking 'Inika' is an Australian brand but it is very very similar to 'Bare Minerals' as it is a mineral/natural foundation. It is definitely not cheap, but it just adds something extra and fresh to your skin. If I am feeling lazy, I often use this alone with a bit of concealer because its coverage and the finish of the powder on my skin is rather good!

Benefits 'Posie Tint' gives a fresh and
natural look to your skin. Doesn't work great
on the Rimmel foundation as they are
 both dewy.

Ive been using this '17 Instant Glow' bronzer for ages now, and it is definitely time I invested in a new one! Im excited for a change on the bronzer front now because I can't remember ever using anything else! I do love this bronzer because it is so simple however, it doesn't last well on my face. Any recommendations of a good bronzer would be appreciated!?

The MUA Undress Your Skin highlighting powder is also a new one in my makeup bag. I wanted just a basic and affordable highlighter that also did the job to a decent standard... and this is the one! At only £3 this product is a winner!

Another winner from MUA is the Undress Me Too palette which is a really good dub for the Urban Decay Naked palette, and at a fraction of the price, you cannot go wrong!

A teeny weeny 'They're real' mascara tube, aw! I love this mascara, perfect for my already long lashes and it is waterproof! (So waterproof I can't always remove it all at night -.- ) I do chop and change my mascara on a daily basis.. maybe their will be an upcoming post on mascara....

LOVE this product! The collection Extreme 24 Hour felt tip liner is fabulous and for someone who is awful at eye makeup, you can't go wrong! I am however, intrigued to try some other similar products out there to compare...

One thing that I am missing from this basics collection is a setting powder and I will definitely be investing in one asap... (I need resolve the foundation slipping off my face issue!!)

I hope you enjoyed this little insight into my everyday basic make up bag...

You can't buy happiness but you can buy cake!

This weekend, the village in which I live, held its annual street feyre.

I don't actually attend this event every year as I think they can be slightly naff and repetitve (the last time I remember going, I was small enough to be bouncing on those tiny trampolines you get at fun fairs)

This year however, I went along as my Mum (the baking fanatic) was running a stall of her own. It was a rather eventful day one way or another, but never the less, a really successful and fun day too!

We pootled on down in the morning to set up (after battling a leak in our kitchen ceiling) (AND in the pouring rain might I add!!) and after a rather wet morning (haha) I didn't have much hope for the rest of the day.

However, the rain stopped pouring and eventually the sun was shining over us. What began as a wet and miserable day ended up being a gloriously sunny and warm afternoon full of custom and friendly faces.

These cake cones were very good at drawing in customers, everyone was so intrigued by them.

Before the feyre had even finished, we were sold out of everything!

I had such a busy and enjoyable day in some typical British weather (rain and shine within the space of minutes)...

Hope you enjoyed the few pictures I took
