A few pieces from Zara, Portugal

Firstly, I must apologise for my lack of activity (no Sunday post), my week has been completely hectic!
Secondly, I must introduce and get on with todays post...

During my trip to Portugal, a visit to the huge shopping centre nearby was on the agenda (knowing that there is massive Zara, plus a chocolate covered everything shop there was a good enough reason to make a visit!)

I thought I would share with you a little look at some of the items I purchased whilst we were away.

Top - Zara
Jeans - ASOS
Loafers - Red Herring

On my lips I am wearing Clarins Intense Chubby Stick in Hefty Hibiscus

Skirt - Zara
Top - Zara
Necklace - New Look

On my lips I am wearing Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker in Bashful

Skirt - Zara
Top - Missguided

On my lips I am wearing Rimmel Colour Rush Balm in The Redder The Better

As you can probably tell by my goofy posing, I love all of these outfits so much!
..Just a little note however, these were purchased in a Portuguese Zara and therefore may not sold in the UK.

See you on Sunday,
E x

A week away...

During July/August, I took a weeks holiday to Portugal with Ollie and his family. My week in Cornwall and the week in Portugal were planned back to back, which gave me a needed two weeks holiday!

I'm not going to spend time blabbering on about how lovely and relaxing Portugal was, but instead just share with you a few photos from the week, enjoy!

Looking very 1950's on my lilo

Under water GoPro pictures are not the most flattering, funky though!

It turns out, out of water GoPro shot aren't the most attractive either!

I was a failure at shooting my outfits each day/night, I managed to get one though..

Accidental photo?

On the drive back from our morning in the mountains, we spotted a fresh water spout/tap!

Fanta by the beach? Ok then!

You can head on over to my photography blog (eheavisidephotography.blogspot.co.uk) to see more photos from the week

Until next time,

Cameron Diaz Inspired Make Up Look

Quick disclaimer, I am not a make up artist, and I know this, I just enjoy make up, whether I am recreating looks or just experimenting. So if you are looking for a professional make up look, go elsewhere!

Not the best way to open a blog post, but I just wanted to make everyone aware that I am not trying to be a make up artist, I do this purely for a hobby, for you and for my love of beauty and fashion:D

Today I bring to my blog, a Cameron Diaz inspired look. As a huge lover of Diaz (definitely a woman crush going on here) I enjoy seeing what looks she goes for, both in fashion and in beauty. I have noticed that she goes for two styles in particular. Cameron either pairs a bold, harsh, smokey eye with a nude lip or, she matches an stand-out red lip with a warm, light eye.

Her skin always looks amazingly bright and glowing so in this look, I have focussed closely on my skin. I decided to go for the red lip and glowing eye combination as I felt it was more me, and although I am creating Diaz's look, I still have to wear the make up too!

(Placing my picture next to this seriously beautiful lady was more confidence knocking than I expected)

To get this look, I used:
Rimmel Wake Me UP foundation - Shade '103 True Ivory' all over my face and the lighter shade '100 Ivory' to highlight around my cheeks/down the side of my nose/my chin.

Collection Lasting Perfection concealer - Shade '01 Fair' I dotted this under my eyes in a 'V' shape and down towards my cheeks to add extra highlight.

I decided not to powder any areas of my face as Diaz has such radiant look about her skin and I felt powdering would only dull and mattify my skin.

Clarins Bronzer - Shade '01 Light'
MUA Blush - Shade 'Bon Bon'

I swirled both the blush and bronzer together to create a pinky/bronzed glow.
Also, taking the bronzer through my hairline helped to frame my face.

MUA - Highlighting powder used on my chin, my brow bone, down my nose, the apples of my cheeks and along my cheek bones

On my eyes I used: Mac Paint Pot in 'Bare Study', NYC Quatro Eyeshadow Best Of Broadway 815, NYC eye pencil in White, No7 Extreme Length mascara in black.

Rimmel Colour Rush - 'The Redder the Better' I must just say, I want a massive fan of this stick as I felt it dried my lips out, but I have discovered, as long as I put a lip balm on underneath, this is actually a rather lush product!

And there we go, everything I used to create this Cameron Diaz look!

Hopefully this was helpful and if it wasn't, I hope you enjoyed reading anyway...
See you soon,

E x
